Best Suited For: People who prioritize their health and are looking to start their own business with a health and wellness company.
Summary: Bonvera is an MLM company with respect. Although new, they are well-established within the health and wellness niche. They sell anything from nutritional to weight loss supplements and even skin care products that fight against aging. However, not the best business opportunity in my opinion.
What is Bonvera?
Bonvera is a health and wellness network marketing company that started as an idea by a few successful entrepreneurs, they wanted to bring value and to revolutionize the whole entrepreneurship system.
They wanted to make a system that was eligible or accessible to anyone. Not just the rich and wealthy.
That was their initial goal and vision.
The idea was born in 2004 but didn’t take place until 2016. The company wants to make the best product possible for people who seek a better and healthier lifestyle.
The CEO and Co-founder of Bonvera is a former United States Air Force Captain named Robert Dickie III, he was recruited to lead the company together with other successful industry leaders.
The company’s vision is to create healthier lifestyles for people all while they provide them with a business opportunity to make money.
More than 20.000 people are currently enrolled within Bonvera’s network marketing system, and the distributors are called entrepreneurs.
They put a lot of pride in their customer service and how they deal with their customers in general.
But how good are they really? Is all of that true or are they just trying to make some extra money?
I can tell you right away that they are a well respected MLM company, but Let’s find out more about this company, shall we?

How To Start Making Money With Bonvera?
Starting a business with Bonvera or with any MLM is indeed a lot cheaper than if you were to start a liquor store or a restaurant. The start-up cost for any brick and mortar business is insane.
A rough estimate would be $50-150k just to get started with one.
An MLM business on the other hand, would be much cheaper to get started with. However, there are some disadvantages you should really consider.
One of them is the success rate when it comes to how likely you are to succeed, MLMs are at the bottom of the list.
Not because it’s an online business model or anything, but solely because of the way you have to run such a business.
99% of people joining an MLM company lose their money (myself included), and that’s based on facts like statistics. I digress, more on that later.
Let me tell you how much it cost to join Bonvera and how to start making money with them.
To become one of their associates or entrepreneur, you have to pay an enrollment fee of $149.95. But you need products to start selling, right?
So after that you have the option to purchase a package, and there are two for you to choose from.
- Starter pack ($124.99) with a 75 PV
- Pro pack ($224.99) with a 137 PV
My initial advice would be to start with the former, and if you see the sales dropping then go with the pro package, the difference is in the number of products you get with each package.
Now that you know how much it cost join Bonvera, you need to know how to make money with it.
And that’s when the compensation plan comes in handy, it’s a guide on how you can start making money with them.
Bonvera’s Compensation Plan
When it comes to a compensation plan of an MLM company, I always hold my breath when I see it.
And the reason for that is because most of the time, they are really complicated. So complicated that it led me to think whether they really want to help you or bully you.
I came across MLM companies with compensation plans that are 100 pages long, how do you even get around that?
Bonvera’s compensation plan is not super easy to understand, but it’s not all that complicated either. Let me help you out.
Here’s the summarized version of the important stuff. The different methods or ways to make money with Bonvera.
1. Beginning Commission (Retail Commission)
Once you paid the enrollment fees, you will receive a custom-made website from Bonvera. And whenever someone you referred to your website buys directly from your website, you will earn 20% commission on whatever they purchase on the website.
You don’t have to worry about shipping, Bonvera does that for you. Your commission will be paid together with your other monthly bonuses.
2. Smart Shopper Program
There’s a way to get more customers to your website, by offering them a discount of 20% for their purchase. But to become a Smart Shopper, your customers have to do one of the 3 things.
- Pay a onetime fee of $19.95 and be eligible for the discount afterwards.
- Register for FREE on your website and become a smart shopper.
- Complete a Smart Shopper enrollment from and purchase a replenishment order.
3. Enhanced Commissions
You can earn enhanced commissions when you reach a certain amount of PBV (Personal Bonus Volume) every month. Take a look at this.
As you can see, if you have a PBV of $100 – $199, you will receive a commission rate of 5%. There is no doubt that when you have a higher PBV, your commission rate will go up as well.
All the way up to 20% in commission rate.
4. Enroller Bonus
You can be eligible for this bonus when you have been with Bonvera for quite some time. When you recruit someone, they are called “E1” and when they stay long enough with Bonvera, you will get around 5-8% (depending on your rank) of their BV on their personal purchase.
5. Unilevel Bonuses
When you built your own downline within Bonvera, you can earn up 5% in bonus volume from your active recruit up to 4 active levels.

Professional Leadership Depth Bonus: If you are a qualified professional, you will receive a 10% leadership depth bonus from all your downline starting at level 5 through unlimited depth until you reach the next professional or higher ranked associate in any leg.
Senior Professional Leadership Depth Bonus: If you are a qualified senior professional, you will receive a 12% leadership depth bonus from all your downlines starting at level 5 through unlimited depth until you reach the next senior professional or higher ranked associate in any leg.
7. Personal Leader Generation Bonus
When you reached the leader phase, that’s when you reached the ranks executive, senior executive, ambassador or presidential ambassador.
You will receive 2% BV personal leader generation bonus on the BV of your entire downline until you reach the next executive or higher ranked associate in any leg.
8. Executive Generation Bonus
When someone from your downline reached the executive rank or higher, you will stop receiving the personal leader generation bonus, but instead you will get a 3% BV generation 1 bonus.
You will get that 3% generation 1 bonus from your executive’s entire downline.
9. National Bonus Pools
Senior Directors, Professionals, and senior Professionals get a 4% total monthly national BV share. Earning pool shares are Senior Director pool, Professionals pool, and senior professional pool.
10. Bonvera’s Special Reward
Those who performed extremely well within Bonvera will receive a FREE cruise to the Caribbean and Hawaii, trips and cars are also rewardable within Bonvera.
If my summarized version is still a little vague in some part of the plan, feel free to take a look at their full compensation plan here.
Or just watch this video for an even more thorough explanation.
Is Bonvera a Pyramid Scheme?
This is something people often get confused with, they associate MLMs with pyramid schemes, they even use these two terms interchangeably.
Now, I don’t blame anyone for that to be honest. Here’s why take a look at this picture below.
Looks familiar, doesn’t it? In some way, you can say it forms an imaginary pyramid, no?
Well, my friend, that’s exactly how MLMs run their business. Now you know why there’s so much confusion between the two.
If you don’t know what a pyramid scheme is, I will tell you in short what it is. There are many kinds of pyramid schemes, but I will tell you about the two most common or general ones.
- Naked Pyramid Scheme.
- Product-based Pyramid scheme.
Naked pyramid scheme in a nutshell
They don’t really sell you anything, but they want you to recruit as many people as possible.
They want you to believe in making money for investing and recruiting.
For example, if you pay the person who recruited you $100, and now you as a recruiter, recruit 10 people then each one of them will pay you $100.
That means you will be making $900 in profit, but for those under you it will be difficult, it will be harder and harder down the line.
Eventually, recruiting will be so hard that only the initial recruiters will make money and everyone else down the line will lose their money.
Product-based pyramid scheme in a nutshell
Almost the same concept as the naked pyramid scheme, they will sell you products like a starter package that costs $100 and hope that you can recruit more people that would want to purchase their starter kits too.
So for example, as a distributor, your job is to recruit people to purchase the starter kit of $500 and receive a 10% commission on that.
The more people you recruit to purchase the starter kit, the more money you can earn.
However, you do make a 10% commission on the products you or your recruits sell.
MLMs have very similar elements or characteristics of a pyramid scheme, but they are by no means a pyramid scheme. However, there are exceptions.
Some MLMs are a pyramid scheme or a Ponzi scheme in disguise. But Bonvera is not one of them, I can assure you of that.
Based on everything I have found, they are a well respected MLM company within the health and wellness market. The products they sell are of decent quality as well.
Is Bonvera a Scam?
I don’t think that Bonvera should be called a scam, that will be a false statement. A company can be called a scam when they are doing something shady.
You know, when they are doing something in the shadow without you knowing, for example, asking you to purchase this or that without actually providing you with anything at all.
Or tell you to invest in something so you can earn a lot of money without proper proof.
That is without a doubt what scam artists do. So be careful, but as long as you read the reviews on smart affiliate paradise here, you are safe.
However, even though I don’t think Bonvera is a scam, I think they are quite a legitimate MLM company, but I still wouldn’t recommend you or anyone to join them.
To be able to generate a full-time income with Bonvera, you would have to be extremely lucky, because Bonvera, just like thousands of other MLMs have a success rate of 1-2%.
Maybe you think I am exaggerating, but there’s no reason for me to. I have personally tried MLMs for 1.5 years and lost quite a bit of money.
Money I know I will never get back.
But my desire to make a full-time income online was still there, and that’s when I found the best online business model. It helped me generate a 4-figure income month after month.
The best thing is, it is FREE to get started, so you have nothing to lose.
What I Like About Bonvera
1. Third Party Products
I really love the fact that they partnered with other big brands just to help each other out and most importantly show their customers that they are well trusted even among other companies. Brings a lot of value to the company itself.
2. Amazing Bonuses
Another thing I cannot skip over is their compensation plan, I may not fully grasp how much potential their associates have once they get it going.
Although very hard to succeed (1%), there are just too many bonuses an associate can earn that I have to give credit to.
3. Product Line
Probably the only health and wellness MLM company I have reviewed so far with so many products to sell, the 3rd party ones included.
What I Don’t Like About Bonvera
1. No Income Disclosure Statement
This is actually proof that it is hard for anyone to succeed with Bonvera, even though there are numerous ways to make money with them.
If they provided the income disclosure statement, fewer and fewer people will try. Their lucrative business model will fall apart right away. That’s why I don’t recommend MLMs in general, because they always hide this.
2. Product Packages are Too Expensive
The product packages are just way too expensive to even get started with. And if you keep the success rate in mind, that will be $100-200 dollars you will probably never get back. More than that if you plan on staying with them for months.
3. Health And Wellness Is Too Saturated
And again this has to do with the success rate. Multi-level marketing companies are already known for having an absurdly low success rate. Combine that with a saturated market. Yup, you guessed it. Your products won’t sell, and if your products don’t sell, you are left with the products you paid for.
My Final Verdict On Bonvera
My final thoughts on Bonvera? Not a scam, but an awful business opportunity. I hope you will forget about it. I really hope I have talked you out of this nightmare before you even get started.
If the reason you were looking into Bonvera is to make some real money online then I have a better alternative for you.
Something I can prove to you that works and requires a lot less to get started.
If you are so close to giving up $100-$200 on Bonvera to try this MLM business, imagine what you can achieve if you invested into something that actually works.
Let’s be honest 1-2% success rate is atrocious.
If you still want to try out this network marketing business for one reason or the other, by all means, try, your choice.
Just remember everything I told you about Bonvera and MLM businesses in general. I have been making a 4-figure income month after month with just my laptop and the internet.
No need to convince my friends and families to buy my products or looking to recruit them into my downline just so I can get paid.
But instead just a proven system to make real money online.
