What Is The Cost Of Joining Enersource?

There are two options of which you can take when you plan on joining this MLM company.

The first one will cost you $49, but the problem with this lower membership is that you won’t get the full benefit of the compensation plan.

The second option is $249, and yes, I know. That’s a lot of money.

But with the second option you will get a much higher commission rate.

Although the startup cost is not insanely high, I still wouldn’t say this is a wise investment. Because, the success rate with these MLM companies are freakishly low.

The average salary for any one doing business with a MLM company is $2400 per year. It doesn’t sound so lucrative now does it?

And don’t forget to factor in the fact that most businesses will fail, so that’s only IF you make it work.

You also have to purchase $99 worth of products from them to stay active.

With that said, if you are not selling anything in two-three months, you will be left with $297 worth of their products stacking up at home.

How Much Can You Really Make With Enersource?

Enersource International has two compensation plans, and they claim that their plans are unmatched and unique. But yet somehow, there’s no proof of that.

Maybe they’re hiding those “facts”?

Compensation Plan 1

  • No binary – No balancing of legs
  • Offers a Spillover Component
  • You Get The Commission You Earn
  • No Excessive Breakage

Compensation Plan 2

  • Customer sales commissions of up to 100% on every new representative.
  • Up front commissions paid when $150 in products bought OR sold
  • Customer sales commissions paid to infinite levels
  • Residual income paid to infinite levels

Enersource International Compensation Plans

Network marketing companies are infamous when it comes to a compensation plan, 90% of MLM’s have a very complicated compensation plan.

And all of them fall under these 2 commission structures:

1. Unilevel Commissions

2. Matrix Commissions

I have reviewed over hundreds of MLM companies and I still don’t fully grasp their compensation plans.

Unilevel commissions

The Unilevel Commissions

As you can see from the picture above, that’s more or less how a unilevel commission work, the original affiliate is on the top of the pyramid.

Every other person that is directly recruited by the original affiliate are placed on the first level. There’s a limit on how many people you are allowed recruit to the first level.

Affiliates recruited by the level two affiliates are then placed on the level three affiliates from the original affiliate’s unilevel team.

This goes on and on like a pyramid.

The Matrix Commissions

This MLM company uses a 2×12 matrix to payout their matrix commissions to their affiliates.

The original affiliate is on top and has two other affiliates beneath him. Now the two affiliates creates the first level of the matrix.

And the second level of the matrix is created by dividing the two affiliates down into two other affiliates, so now the first level holds 4 positions.

This goes on till the 12th level is reached.

Enersource International Product LineEnerGreens Product

The product line they offer is labeled Evergreen Essentials. They sell their products for wholesale as well as retail prices.

But if you are an affiliate member, you will get a better price for purchasing. You can then sell them for the difference of cost of the price you paid for.

I never tried their product, so I cannot tell you whether they are legit or not.

For that, you will have to find real people that tried them before or ask a nutritionist for that matter.

They do have a very interesting and aesthetically pleasing product line, not gonna lie. Especially the Ketosource products and the Energreen.

All their products can be categorized into 4 major product groups:

  1. Ketosource ProductEnergreen: This product is a super food combination that super charges your energy level with high quality probiotics and 67 milligrams of digestive enzymes.($49)
  2. Ketosource: If you heard about the keto diet and I know you did, this product is for those who are doing the keto diet. It improves the overall effectiveness of your ketodiet. ($117)
  3. ENERGfx02: If you want your alkalinity raised, this product is for you. Raise the alkalinity level through yeast, bacteria, exotoxins etc.($29)
  4. SuperNutrient Vitamin & Minerals: A product made with a unique formula. This super food combination will provide you with maximum nutrition for your every day needs.($34)

Not gonna lie, they really do look legit, and I am sure you will be able to sell some if you put in the effort. People love these products, because they are trending.

But just like most of these health and nutrition products, they don’t last forever.

So for this to be able to sell over and over again, it’s going to be a lot harder than you think, and in my honest opinion, it is not worth the time and sweat.

There are better ways for you to make a legit passive income, half the effort and price, ten times the profit.

Is Enersource International a Scam?

No, Enersource International is not a scam or a pyramid scheme, but nonetheless… I would not recommend this kind of business. Is Enersource a Scam?

Multi level marketing businesses are hard to fuel, and that’s not even the worst part.

Once you know what to do and have recruited a good amount of people (with TONS of effort), your income is still going to mediocre compared to what other methods of online businesses can do for you.

The best online business model is in my opinion Affiliate Marketing. Now there are many reasons for that, but the main one I am going to mention here.

The amount you can earn is directly proportional to the amount of effort you are willing to put in.

Enersource International is not a pyramid scheme, but it has some of the characteristics, for example a pyramid scheme will defraud the people below while the people on top gains all the benefits.

In this MLM they do not fraud people beneath, but only the top ones are gaining 90% of the benefits.

The way MLM’s work is by selling and recruiting, so the more people you recruit, the more saturated the market will become, makes sense?

So those who recruited others are already gaining commissions from the peers below them plus they are selling the stuff themselves.

See what I mean?

What I Like About Enersource/ The Pros

Thumbs UpTheir Product Line: I really like their product line, from Ketosource to their ENERGfx02. The product itself looks very promising and good.

– Their Product Price: The products aren’t overly expensive.

– Going with the trend: I like how they are going with the vegan and gluten-free trend.

What I Don’t Like About Enersource / The Cons

Thumbs down– False Bold Claims: They claimed that their compensation plans are unmatched and unique, but yet never seems to explain that.

– Recruiting: This is actually a general reason why I don’t like MLM’s, the fact that you have to recruit people, families, friends etc.

– $99 Product Purchase: You have to order a minimum of $99 worth of products every month, that’s insane if you ask me.

My Final Verdict

I don’t think Enersource International is a scam or the worst MLM company out there, but I would not recommend it to anyone that’s trying to make a few extra buck.

Solely because the ROI is extremely low and the success rate is out of the window.

Why not opt for something that requires much less? I have found better alternatives in my years of experience with online business (2 years).

And I came to realize that affiliate marketing is the only online business model that requires the least amount of risk and also the easiest one to scale.

And the best place and community for that is no other than Wealthy Affiliate (FREE To Join).

They have all the tools and support you need to get started, thousands of successful internet marketers and millions of people just like you.

  1. Kayin very good review and I fully agree with you MLM is not a good way to make money. I have tried several in the past and the take a lot of effort for very little gain. Also, the products are usually expensive and you can easily buy similar products for much less online. So I steer clear from MLM altogether.

    1. Hello Eric,

Thanks, it is the truth though and it needs to be exposed. I have nothing against MLM companies, but they just aren’t my cup of tea.

I prefer something more reliable, thus my shift to affiliate marketing πŸ™‚

You are absolutely right about the effort by the way, 80-90% of the time when someone I know complains about a network marketing company, is the effort they put in.

The ROI is just insanely low. Some people are profiting though, but that’s a very low percentage of people. If you are looking to make some extra money, I would not stir you this way. Try affiliate marketing, Wealthy Affiliate in particular.

  2. I have been a member of a similar scheme and although it looked very attractive at first, I eventually found it tiring and draining. Similar to this, if you really want to set yourself up to earn some good commission you will have to join the more expensive plan. I couldn’t go for this because , from experience, I found recruiting a difficult activity, I found it hard to make the sales targets. Even if people placed one order, I find that in general they could not commit to regular buying supplements. In addition I do not like to have to deal with inventory. I ended up having products at home even long after leaving the program. I prefer an online occupation like you suggested…affiliate marketing. I just started but it is much easier to handle.

    1. Hi,

That is very true, MLM’s are really good at catching people who are desperate for money, in need of some extra money etc.

Their lucrative deals are only on the surface. Many like you have suffered from this, and I think it is time for the truth to be revealed.

Recruiting is indeed the hardest thing to do in my opinion as well, you won’t make enough just by selling the products, you have to recruit.

Just keep grinding on your affiliate marketing journey, get over the hump. I am sure you will be making thousands very soon, sooner than you think πŸ™‚

      Best of luck.

  3. Oooh, thanks for sharing the details behind the Enersource International program that is best suited for “no one”. That is a pretty strong way to make sure people know that this is something they should absolutely avoid. Up front costs / a high buy in with low earnings doesn’t sound attractive at all. The ongoing $99 / month purchase seems a bit much too. Thanks so much for sharing this info!

    1. Hey Aly,

You are welcome. I know that saying that it is best suited for no one may sound a little harsh, but it’s the best way to tell people not to try.

There are some MLM’s that are somewhat better than others, but even the best MLM company will not offer you any great benefits.

Their $99 ongoing purchase every month is big red flag for me, and it will probably be for anyone that’s joining as well.
