Let's get into it.
Best Suited For: People who have a keen interest in selling. And are experienced in the field of selling and multi-level marketing in general.
Summary: Omnilife is one of the oldest if not the oldest MLM company that sells dietary supplements and nutritional products. It has been around since 1991, based in Mexico, Guadalajara, Jalisco. As vintage as it sounds,
Recommended: Definitely not.
What Is Omnilife?
This multi-level marketing company has been around since 1991, I am sure you might think that this should automatically make the company legitimate.
Don't be so quick to decide that. It is a network marketing company after all.
The start of Jorge Vergara's story is humble, he and his two colleagues founded a company called Omnitrion Mexico in 1989 but it wasn't official until 1991.
And in 2000, Vergara had the authority to change the name to Omnilife, as we know it.
The company promotes dietary and nutritional supplements in Latin America, the United States, and Spain. It has over 3.500 employees.
Vergara called his network marketing method as "Multidesarrollo", and there's a reason why, it is a model he personally applied when he was a distributor of Herbalife.
Before being a distributor for Herbalife, Vergara was just selling tacos on the street. This is a perfect example of someone who from obscurity to wealth.
Omnilife's Product Line
This company sells more than 70 different nutritional and dietary supplements and I am not going to go through each and every one of them.
I will give you a brief overview of the products you can find and promote from this company.
On the website, the products are categorized into:
Let's start with nutrition first, here you can find all the nutritional and dietary supplements from Omnilife.
These are the top sellers, Aloe Pina, Aqtua Supreme and Cafezzino Plus. The Aloe Pina is a declicious and aromatic pinapple flavored drink with aloe vera that complements your digestive system.
The Supreme is a nutritional drink with tangerine flavor together enhanced with ubiquinol coenzyme, L-carnitine, magnesium and D-ribose to support your body.

Is Omnilife a Pyramid Scheme?
The company runs a infamous business model, the direct selling method of doing business raises a lot of questions.
But Omnilife is in my opinion not scamming people with just words or fake promises, the company offers legit products that some people might like and some do not.
Point is, they are real products and are at least half decent.
An MLM company would be considered a pyramid scheme or even a ponzi scheme if it wasn't offering anything else but fake promises and manipulating you into investing in them.
Take a look at this picture here.
This is how 99% of MLMs work, the percentage of people actually making money is very slim and they make 90% of all the money generated.
MLMs and pyramid schemes both utilizes this exact business structure, that's why there's a stigma around it.
This may sound a bit exaggerated to you but if you are not new to this whole MLM business world thing, then you should know what I am spewing here, isn't crap.
Now with that said, there are MLM companies out there where you can make money, and not lose money but it is so extremely difficult that it is almost pointless to even try.
How Much Does It Cost To Join Omnilife ?
The cost of getting started with Omnilife is actually not that expensive, I was surrprised when I was doing my research on this company.
To become a distributor, you need to purchase one of their starter kit that's worth $39.
I know, $39 is not that big of an investment, almost anyone can get started with it, however, you also need to be able to maintain a 300 PV every single month to stay actie and receive commission.
Omnilife's Compensation Plan
Omnilife uses a unilevel compensation plan, what that means is, you need to build your own down line if you plan on making more money.
So just like any typical MLM companies out there, the main method of making money with them is through retail commissions.
So I will talk about that first. The retail commission that you can earn from this company starts at 20%, and it can go up all the way to 50%.
Sounds pretty neat, huh?
But here's the thing, your commission rate is completely dependent on your personal sales volume, so the more you sell, the higher your commission rate will be.
- 0 to 999 PV = 20% commission
- 1000 to 1.999 PV = 25% commission
- 3.500 to 3.900 PV = 40% commission
- 4.000+ PV = 50 % commission
Now, the second way you can make money is also the method that makes an MLM company very similar to a pyramid scheme, the unilevel business structure.
Recruit as many people as you can and build your own team, the more they make , the more you can make.
You can make 5% commissions on all your down line sales through your first level if the distributors in your down line are active.
Watch this video if you are serious about this MLM company, it's a very long video though.

Is Omnilife Accredited By The BBB?
Nope, they are unfortunately not accredited by the Better Business Bureau (BBB). Even though the company has been around for 3 decades, it is still not accredited by the BBB.
They do, however, have an A for rating.
I am not going to go in-depth as to why they are not accredited and whether or not that should raise some concern if you plan on joining them.
Being accredited is definitely a trust booster but don't put it above the other stuff on your priority list.
What I Like About Omnilife / The Pros
1. Established Company
The fact that this company is one the first nutritional MLM company and it is still performing quite well, says a lot about it.
20+ years of experience under its belt, that's not something to be underestimated for. Most MLMs don't even last 5 years in the industry.
2. Solid Amount of Products
There are 70+ different products offered by Omnilife, that's a whole lot of products. So you can rest assured that you will not run out of products to promote.

What I Dislike About Omnilife / The Cons
1. Income Disclosure Not Found
Not having an income closure can be a big NO for many people. The only legitimate reasons I can think of why a company as big as Omnilife doesn't have an income disclosure is:
- Distributors aren't making any money or very little.
- They don't think its neccesary to do that.
And based on my rational thinking and experience in online business and entrepreneurship throughout the years, I go with the former.
There's no actual reason why a company as big as this one wouldn't consider putting an income disclosure, it would be beneficial to the company because transparency always increases trustworthiness.
2. Market Is Getting Saturated
It's not 1990 or 2000 anymore, the market is getting saturated, newer and more promising companies are on the rise.
So unless Omnilife decides to do something innovative or revolutionary about it, I have a strong feeling they won't grow. And if they are not careful, they could run the chance of getting one-upped by the competitions.
3. Overpriced Products
The products are severely overpriced, and this brings me back to the point I made above, the market is getting saturated and if you are not implementing newer and more efficient strategies, you will see a decline in growth.
Having expensive products laying around while your competitors have cheaper ones will most likely super-charge the declination.
Is Omnilife a Scam?
I heard the CEO of Omnilife was filed for a lawsuit by its shareholders, however, I couldn't find any legit evidence backing up that statement.
But that's something worth considering, aside from that, I don't think it's a scam.
Or should I say, not yet.
Regardless, I wouldn't recommend this company solely because it is not the best online money making opportunity.
I have seen people succeed, and I have seen people fail, myself included. Based on all my knowedlge and prior experience, I can tell you it's a dead end.
But if your question is "Is Omnilife a scam?" then no.
How I Made Thousands Online In 1 Year?
By reading my review on Omnilife, you should know by now that I am not a big fan of MLM, and that's not because I hate them or anything.
Personally, I had a very bad experience with MLM thus why I am not recommending it to anyone.
However, there is a business model I do recommend, and it's called affiliate marketing.
The reason why? let me tell you why.
- You don't need to purchase any products to make money.
- You don't need to recruit people to actually make money.
- You can promote more than 1 product.
And the best thing is, it is completely FREE to get started with.
If you don't like it, no problem. But why wouldn't you try something that's RISK-FREE in the first place?
I was a manager at a phone shop while I was doing this as my side hustle, and now, I can work beside the infinity pool whenever I want . (but don't do that...sunburn xD)
I'm not that special, I know you can do it, too.
