Touchstone Essentials Overview

Touchstone Essentials

Best Suited For: People who are looking to create an extra source of income by selling nutritional products to other people. If your general knowledge about health is mediocre, you might have a hard time making this work.

Summary: Touchstone Essentials is a CBD focused company you can easily find anywhere else, the problem with this company is that they don't have anything special to offer. With that I mean something that stands out from the rest of the companies within the CBD market.

Recommended: Definitely not.

What Is Touchstone Essentials?

Touchstone Essentials sells nutritional supplements. It was founded by Eddie Stone back in 2012, who up until now, serves as the company’s CEO.

Before Touchstone Essentials, he worked for Nu Skin and served as one of their distributors. He then joined Rexall Showcase International.

He wanted more, and so, even founded his own nutrition supplement firm he called, Waiora.

Unfortunately, things didn’t go as planned as he went through a lawsuit after it was discovered that their NCD supplement product had a lower zeolite amount as what was advertised.

Nonetheless, he overcame this huge challenge after paying a whopping $12 million settlement.

He still pushed on with his hopes of succeeding in the nutritional supplement industry, though, as he founded another firm — Touchstone Essentials, with hopes of offering “healthier” food supplements to the market.

The company has been operating for more than two decades now. And I can say that it has been pretty successful in offering affordable nutritional supplements to people thanks to its direct selling.

Especially with their flagsghip product, Organically Grown, Full Spectrum CBD with Zero THC Hemp Oil.

There’s no middlemen with Touchstone Essentials! Instead, you can directly buy their products online.

Is Touchstone Essentials a Pyramid Scheme?

A lot of MLM's out there are being considered a pyramid scheme. Touchstone Essentials included, but I don't think it is one YET.

And you can't really blame them for accusing network marketing companies of being a pyramid scheme.

The reason I say that is not because I had a very bad experience with MLM's, I mean, that too...

But the main reason I agree with the majority of people is because an MLM business model is almost identical to that of a pyramid scheme.

Take a look at this picture below.

MLM business model

If you are not familiar with this picture, that's how an MLM busines model looks like.

The ones on top of the "pyramid" make most of the money, while those beneath them are actually losing money.

But don't get me wrong, I am not saying that all MLM's are pyramid schemes, but there are a lot of them who are pyramid scheme in disguise.

A pyramid scheme stays alive by recruiting, and that's the only way it can sustain itself.

But a legitimate MLM company will have more than one option of making money.

If you find yourself stressing to recruit other people because that's the only legit way for you to make any money then you have found yourself a pyramid scheme in disguise, my friend.

How Much Does It Cost To Join Touchstone Essentials ?

If you are looking to become an affiliate at Touchstone Essentials, you will be required to pay an annual membership fee of $19.95.

However, your annual fee can be waived by buying a minimum product valued at 500 PV or by purchasing the Advantage Pack worth $659.

I can say for sure that joining Touchstone Essentials isn’t very hard. You also don’t have to pay much if you want to be one of their affiliates as its annual membership fee is just a minuscule $19.95.

What’s even better is that you can even waive it by:

  • Purchasing a product that’s worth a minimum of 500 PV

  • Or by buying its $695-worth Advantage Pack.

It’s a no-brainer, though, that you just have to choose the former option! And even if the Advantage Pack can increase your overall income potential, it’s still not enough reason for you spend around $700!

Touchstone Essentials Compensation Plan

Before I tell you about the compensation plan, I want to talk about the ranking first.

Joining the company and becoming their affiliate also means you need to go through their rank hierarchy. Here’s their ranking from bottom to top:

Affiliate

This is the lowest rank. You get this rank when you pay the membership shipp for the first time.

Active Member

You become an active member once you’ve generated over 100 PV (Personal Volume) monthly.

Manager

Generate at least 100 PC monthly and over 600 GV (Group Volume) monthly from your downlines. However, I find the 60% max cap per leg to be a bit limiting.

National Manger to Presidential Ambassador

After becoming manager, you can then be a national manager. Go even further the ranks and you become a director, regional director, and then a national director.

Higher up the ladder is becoming an executive, ambassador, then ultimately a presidential ambassador being the highest possible rank.

This is based on generated GV and personal values. I find the latter to be a bit troublesome as this isn’t based on solid statistics. Hence, there’s a possibility that favoritism can be a huge part in your promotion.

Now that we got that out of the way, let's get into the compensation plan, here's a summarized version.

Retail Bonus

Buy at a wholesale price, and sell at retail price. In simpler words, you purchase a Touchstone Essentials product cheap, and sell it for a higher price to gain profit.

Referral Bonus

You earn a bonus for every new member you (or your downlines) referred to the program. You also get a bonus depending on the PV (Personal Volume) your downiles generate. This ranges from 5% to 20%. Not bad, especially if you have a huge network.

Double Builder Bonus

I consider this as a commission that you earn for every sale made under your name. You simply earn this bonus by referring a minimum of two new members in a month. You then earn commissions every time your referrals sell something.

This works the same way as the Triple Builder Bonus. The only thing different is that there are three people under, instead of two under you.

It sounds good. But I’m a bit skeptical at this because it means that most (if not all) your downlines must meet the minimum requirements to stay active.

Residual Rewards

Earn commissions for every repurchase from your downlines. It’s nice because it goes all the way to nine levels below you. But I’m not totally sold out with this because the commission rate lowers the deeper you go into the levels

Earn 5% from Levels 1 to 7. This then goes down to 3% for Level 8. And a low 2% for Level 9.

Compensation Plan Graph

Matching Check Bonus

You get the chance to earn 10% payout from members. An example would be getting $100 from a downline who earned $1,000. Sounds and looks nice, though, because they say there’s no limit as to how much you can earn!

Rank Advancement

Get promoted up the ranks and earn a bonus.

  • Get $600 once you become a director
  • Get $300 once you become a national manager
  • Get $150 once you become a regional manager

Infinity Bonus

Earn a maximum of 1% on all received cash bonuses. But this is only exclusive to presidential ambassador level — a level you’re most likely to not reach.

Is Touchstone Essentials Accredited By The BBB?

So being accredited by the BBB (Better Business Bureau) is a pretty big step, business wise that is.

The reason I say that is because it builds trust and legitimacy. And Touchstone Essentials is accredited for as long as 6 years, since 2014.

Because the BBB is such a high authority organization that labels the legitimacy of a company, it's always a good thing if the company you are about to get acquainted with is acrredited by them.

However, don't get too into it.

This is by no means a big green light, I would advise you to do more thorough research before actually joining a company, any company, accredited or not.

But nonetheless, this is definitely a good sign.

They even have an A+ rating with a 5-Star review score.

What I Like About Touchstone Essentials / The Pros

Affordable Package

Product packages are generally affordable. Well, at least most of them. They have an average price of $100. Don’t include the $659 Advantage Pack, though!

Affordable Membership

Becoming an affiliate of Touchstone Essentials is cheap because you only need to pay $19.95. This is low compared to other MLM companies.

But the catch here is that paying the cheap membership fee won’t activate your account. You need to earn commissions or buy productive amounting to 500 CV total to become an earning member!

Promotion

Another thing I liked about Touchstone Essentials is that they list all their rules for promotion, so you don’t sound too salesy.

Examples of these are health or income-related promises. I find this very nice as this doesn’t give an impression of false marketing.

What I Dislike About Touchstone Essentials / The Cons

Lack Of Income Reports

You won’t see any income reports from people, because first off, this is clearly stated in the company’s promotion rules that you must not present any financial promise.

If I was being invited, I’ll be skeptical if Touchstone Essential would really be profitable because there are no concrete evidence to support this claim.

Need For “Conviction”

I find it a bit of a turnoff to know that you have to keep your downlines active for you to be promoted and earn bonuses.

This means you need to convince everyone under you to spend a minimum of more than $100 monthly to stay active. Not everyone are willing to spend an amount this big.

Sales Requirements

You need to spend more than $120 to become an active member, while also meeting the monthly sales requirements.

Is Touchstone Essentials a Scam?

No, Touchstone Essential is not a scam. I have reviewed CBD related MLM companies like hempSMART & CTFO, they may look a bit scammy, too, but they are not.

I can assure you guys, because of these two things:

  • Proven positive testimonials from people who actually used their products, saying that they’re really effective and made them technically “healthier” in one way or another.
  • Proven positive testimonials from people who made a (decent amount of) living by becoming an affiliate of the MLM company.

I must say that Touchstone Essentials is a nice way to earn money from the sides while getting the nutritional benefits of the products. (If you were looking for nutritional benefits in the first place.)

Another thing that makes it stand out from the rest, is that it advertises that it only uses purely natural and organic ingredients for all of its products.

Well, at least, that’s what they’re trying to say.

And whether it’s true, partially true, or just marketing propaganda, it doesn’t really matter because many users attest to their products’ effectiveness.

So I guess, it’s safe to say that Touchstone Essentials is safe to try.

But do I recommend it? Definitely not.

There are far better money making options or opportunities out there, it would be a total waste of time if you tried this.

A few hundred bucks in a year?...

How I Made Thousands Online In 1 Year?

By reading my review on Touchstone Essentials, you should know by now that I am not a big fan of MLM, and that's not because I hate them or anything.

I, personally, had a very bad experience with MLM thus why I am not recommending it to anyone.

However, there is a business model I do recommend, and it's called affiliate marketing.

The reason why? let me tell you why.

  • You do not need to purchase any product to make money.
  • You do not need to recruit people to actually make money.
  • You are not limited to what you want to promote.

And the best thing is, it is completely FREE to get started with.

I lost thousands of dollars in pursuit of financial freedom, and then it happened, I found it.

I have been making $3.000 dollars month after month.

After years of pursuing financialtime and place freedom, after burning those midnight oils and work my butt off as a manager in a phone shop, I am finally able to live the paradise lifestyle I deserve.

From employee to boss

I know you can do it, too.

(Again, it is FREE to try, what do you have to lose? O_O)
