What Is TruVision Health?

TruVision Health is self-proclaimed as one of the leading health and wellness company that sells quality supplement products to their audience.

Products that are made with all-natural ingredients.

They also specialize in weight loss products and has found some success in promoting them.

In a nutshell, TruVision’s weight loss system helps your body get what it needs to maximize the weight loss progress. They have two special pills for this.

Even with all these other high profile companies around, TruVision Health is still able to make a name for himself

Not long after the company was founded it started picking up, the sales were going up, and now they are making close to $60 million dollars a year.

You must be asking yourself the question “How can this MLM company be a scam if it’s making millions a year?” right now, right?

But don’t be too quick on your conclusion.

Just seeing the numbers of the company is not enough and it shouldn’t be enough for you to risk your money for.

What Products Does TruVision Health Offer?

TruVision Health offers a wide variety of products, from health & wellness to weight loss to skin care. Let’s talk about some of their products.

Their products are made with all-natural ingredients like green tea extract and ingredients like ginseng and caffeine.

Nonetheless, people still complain about the side effects of their products, side effects like anxiousness and not being able to stay relaxed.

But then again there are quite a few who think the product works like magic. Take a look at the customer review from Amazon.

Amazon's customer review

You can see from the above that the top positive review is 5 stars (total of 30 positive reviews) and the top critical review is 1 star (total of 39 critical reviews).

I haven’t tried them personally, but I can say that the products are effective to some and ineffective to others.

But overall, I would still consider them legitimate.

The Cost of Joining TruVision Health

Just like any MLM company, you are required to pay an enrollment fee. TruVision Health’s enrollment fee is $35, but aside from that, you have to agree to a monthly purchase.

That means an auto-ship agreement, you have to purchase products from them every single month.

If you agreed to all of that and you paid the enrollment fee, you are an official associate.

The benefits of being an associate are that you will get 20% off of all their products, you will receive commissions from the sales of your recruits (the people you recruited into joining TruVision Health).

You will be able to earn some rewards from the SmartShip ordering service, you can join their 10k pledge and receive FREE products.

What else, oh, how about your own replicated website? Yup, you get that as well. And the packages for the associate membership can cost anywhere from $125-$159.

What Is TruVision Health’s Compensation Plan?

The majority of MLM companies have a very complicated compensation plan, but TruVision Health’s not that complicated in my opinion.

MLM companies like Kannaway, Kyani and Seacret Direct all have a somewhat complicated compensation plan.

There are two main ways you can make money with any MLM company.

  1. Retail Commissions
  2. Residual Commissions

In a nutshell, Retail commissions are when you make money by selling the product you purchased for the wholesale price and sell it to customers for retail price.

The difference between wholesale and retail is your profit.

Residual Commission, in a nutshell, you make money by the purchases your recruits make.

Now that we got that out of the way, let’s talk about the specific ways to make money with TruVision Health.

The Fast Start Bonus

This is a bonus for associates that just got started. This program will help them get back the money they invested in TruVision Health as fast as possible.

Thus the name Fast Start Bonus.

But there are rules though, you are only eligible for this program in the first 60 days after becoming an associate, you must have purchased the Fast Start package yourself as well.

And you need to have at least 100 PV in your current month or the previous one.

The fast start packages you buy after your first one is not subjective to a fast start bonus, only your first order. You can learn more about the Fast Start Bonus here.

The Matching Bonus

To be eligible for this bonus, the associate needs to be commission qualified by having purchased at least 100 PV in the current month or the previous one.

And you need to have sponsored or recruited at least one associate that makes a unilevel commission.

So what you receive is a 10% commission from the unilevel commissions your personally recruited associates make. If your downline is pretty big then you can expect a good sum of money.

But most MLM companies I know and reviewed has it, it’s a very common bonus for their highest ranking associates.

Retail Difference (Sample Commissions)

This is the easiest way to make money with TruVision Health. You will make the difference in retail price and associate price.

For example, if the retail price is $100 and the associate price is $50 then you will make $100 – $50 = $50 in profit.

For this, you don’t have to meet a special criterion to be eligible or anything. And associates can earn an unlimited amount of retail commissions.

That’s why this is the most common way people within TruVision Health make money.

You can check out the complete compensation plan here or you can watch the video below to completely understand their compensation plan.

Is TruVision Health a Pyramid Scheme?

There’s a stigma surrounding multi-level marketing companies, they are almost always accused of being a pyramid scheme.

But is TruVision Health one? Before we go into that, let’s talk about a pyramid scheme first.

If you don’t know what a pyramid scheme is, I will tell you in short what it is. There are many kinds of pyramid schemes, but I will talk about the two most common or general ones.

  1. Naked Pyramid Scheme.
  2. Product-based Pyramid scheme.

Naked pyramid scheme in a nutshell

They don’t really sell you anything, but they want you to recruit as many people as possible.

They want you to believe in making money for investing and recruiting.

For example, if you pay the person who recruited you $100, and now you as a recruiter, recruits 10 people then each one of them will pay you $100.

That means you will be making $900 in profit, but for those under you it will be difficult, it will be harder and harder down the line.

Eventually, recruiting will be so hard that only the initial recruiters will make money and everyone else down the line will lose their money.

Product-based pyramid scheme in a nutshell

Almost the same concept as the naked pyramid scheme, they will sell you products like a starter package that cost $100 and hope that you can recruit more people that would want to purchase their starter kits too.

So for example, as a distributor, your job is to recruit people to purchase the starter kit of $500 and receive a 10% commission on that.

The more people you recruit to purchase the starter kit, the more money you earn.

However, you do make a 10% commission on the products you or your recruits sell.

TruVision Health runs a similar business structure, take a look at this.

Pyramid Scheme MLM

But I will not outrageously say that TruVision Health is a pyramid scheme even though it possesses very similar characteristics like a pyramid scheme.

The reason for that is because I think they sell legitimate products.

Is TruVision Health a Scam?

TruVision Health is not a scam as I said before, and you should know that by now if you read all the information I provided from the start.

They are a legitimate multi-level marketing company with legitimate products.

Sure, some negative reviews about their products here and there, but the quality is nonetheless decent.

TruVision Health does not steal people’s money by not giving them the promised products or make false claims about the price of the products etc.

However, even though I think it is a legit MLM company, not a scam, not a pyramid scheme, I still wouldn’t recommend it.

Not a scam does not directly translate into a good business opportunity. It is however still a lot cheaper than a physical business, but the ROI is almost non-existent.

There are far better alternatives that will cost you less or the same amount, but with a much higher success rate.

The success rate is ridiculously low and the chance of losing money is extremely high. 99% of people who joins a MLM company lose their money.

Unless you are one of the first associates that started with the company, you have almost no chance of making money with them, and even if you do, it will be so little that the amount you invested into them will be 10 times more.

What I Like About TruVision Health / The Pros

1.The Compensation Plan

I really like how TruVision Health’s compensation plan is so easy to understand. I have seen and reviewed enough MLM’s to know that most of them have complicated ones.

2. Making Money Is Possible

It is hard to say this for most multi-level marketing companies, but with TruVision Health it is true. You can make money with them, they are a legit MLM company and not a fraudulent one, however, you won’t get rich from this though.

What I Don’t Like About TruVision Health / The Cons

1. Lawsuits

I hate to say this, but this is true. Lawsuits have been filed against TruVision Health before. One in 2015 and the other one in 2017.

Both lawsuits were from the FDA on their products. They were using two ingredients that were dangerous when combined together with Caffeine, DMDA and Synephrine.

2. Low Earning Potentials

I did say it is possible to make money with TruVision Health, but the amount you can make is extremely low. You are more likely to invest 10 ten times more than you earn. So if you still decide to join them, be prepared for that.

3. Low Success Rate

The success rate to succeed with TruVision is absurd. Brick and mortar businesses are indeed a lot more expensive to start with. But at least you know there’s a higher chance of succeeding, with TruVision Health, you will have a success rate of 1%.

My Final Verdict

I don’t think anyone who is trying to make real money online should join a MLM company, I honestly don’t. Some network marketing companies like TruVision Health is legit.

But the fact remains, you cannot get rich with them, and the success rate is just way too low.

There are far better alternatives that will cost you less, but has a much bigger ROI and success rate.

I take myself as an example, I have tried these multi-level marketing companies before and I am not ashamed to say that I lost quite some money with them.

But I am now making 4-figure every single month comfortably with nothing but my laptop, internet and a hot cup of cocoa. All of that is possible thanks to affiliate marketing.

Wealthy Affiliate, in particular, is the affiliate marketing course and community that thought me everything from scratch and the best thing about them is, it is FREE to start with.
