How To Receive Affiliate Payment As a Non-US Resident

If you are interested in starting your affiliate marketing business or career as a non-us resident, I am sure you have been asking yourself quite a lot about the payment options that are available.

How can a non-us resident receive payment from an american affiliate program like Amazon Associate?

If you are like me, someone who is not form the US but you want to start an affiliate marketing business, don't fret, I have the answer right here.

When I got started, I was wondering how to get paid as an affiliate as well.

That's why I wrote this guide for you to finally get over this obstacle and start your affiliate marketing career at once.

What Is Payoneer?

When I first got started I had no idea how to get paid because my country does not accept the usual payment methods offered by affiliate networks.

Payment methods like:

  • PayPal
  • Wire Transfer
  • Skrill
  • Payza
  • Webmoney

I can't receive my payment through none of those options, and if you are in the same boat as I was, this will be your answer.

This Is Payoneer

The payment method I am talking about is no other than Payoneer.

Payoneer is a financial services company that can help you transfer money online in a very secure manner.

It was founded back in 2005 by Yuval Tal in New York City.

Payoneer is created to facilitate the transfer  of cash on international grounds. That's why this company is so important for us (non-us affiliates).

It helps people create a local digital bank in the United States that can function as your actual bank in your country by simply linking your bank to Payoneer.

At this very moment, it provides international transactions or cross-border transactions in 200 countries around the globe.

And they have about 150 different local currencies in functionality. The company also has around 12.000 employees as of 2019.

Is Payoneer Trustworthy?

Yes, Payoneer is doing business with big brand names that are known all throughout the world.

Some of the biggest brand names we know are making good use of this payment service company, for examples, companies like Google, Amazon and even AirBnB.

If Google trust them, why shouldn't you?

and Amazon uses Payoneer to send mass payments to their Amazon Associates every month.

Payoneer has a 4.5 star rating on Trustpilot. The majority of people (80%) are voting it as an excellent payment service.

Payonner is also BBB (Better Business Bureau) accredited since 2008.

It only took them 3 years to get accredited with a B+ rating with 4 stars hanging on its profile.

How To Get Paid As a Non-US Resident

Here is the guide you are here for, follow these steps and you will be ready to venture into your affiliate marketing world!

1

Look For An Affiliate Program With More Than One Payment Option

Before you get started and signup for every affiliate program or network you encounter, take some time and look into their payment options first.

Especially for someone that is not from the US, if you are then cool but since you are here, that means you are not.

So make sure that Payoneer is within their payment options. Look under ACH as a payment method.

2

Create A Payoneer Account (FREE)

The next thing to do is sign up for Payoneer. However, there is one more cool thing about it.

There is a way for you to make $25 as a payoneer member, but to receive that you need to be referred by someone that is already a member.

And that member will also receive a $25 commission. Since I am already a member of Payoneer I can refer you to Payoneer and then the both of us will receive $25 each at no cpst to you.

3

Link Your Payoneer Account To Your Affiliate Netowrk

The last step to finish off the process is to link your local bank account to Payoneer. Once linked, you will wait for your local bank to confirm the process.

Payoneer's Fees

I am going to tell you about the necessary parts about the fees and exchange rate.

  • When you want to send and receive funds from another Paoneer member it is FREE. There are no fees included. Simply click on the "make a payment" option.
  • To receive cash directly via an eCheck in US dollar is 1% fee.
  • To receive cash directly via credit card or debit card is a 3% fee.
  • Exchanging your currency to another will cost you a 0.5% on fees.

These are the fees that I am working with, there are probaby some things you want to know besides this.

If there's something I haven't mentioned that you deem important you can just check out the Payoneer's page about fees here.

Payoneer Card

It's also possible for you request a Payoneer Card from Payoneer. It's like a prepaid credit card from Mastercard.

But you can only request one if you have received a payment that sums up at least $30 or the equivalent of that.

Just go to settings and click on Payoneer Cards and follow the instruction there.

Payoneer Bank Accounts

You can add a total of 2 bank accounts to Payoneer. Once you submitted your account it will take some time to get qualified by both ends of the party.

Once that is done, you will see "approved".

Payoneer Bank Account

The next thing you need to do is put in the information provided by Payoneer and add them into your affiliate network's payment details.

What I mean by that is instead of filling in your actual bank account details, use the ones provided by Payoneer isntead.

These are the things you need to use from the new bank account provided by payoneer:

  1. Bank Name
  2. Routing (ABA)
  3. Account Number

Now that was a quick guide on how to receive payment as a non-us resident by using Payoneer. I hope it helped you out and answered your doubt, I wish you the best in your future affiliate marketing business.

However, if you are just getting started, perhaps you can check out this article called "How to start affiliate marketing with no money".

Leave me a comment if you find this guide to be helpful or if you have any experience that you would like to share when it comes to affiliate marketing as a non-us resident.

Stay cool & humble.

  • Hello there Kayin.  Thank you for the post.  I currently use transferwise and pay pal for most of my payments that could potentially go over seas.  Right now I am in the process of signing up for payoneer.  I am doing this because there are some countries that do not accept payment from the united states when I try to use transferwise or pay pal.  I am excited to join payoneer so that I can pay anybody in the world hassle free.

  • I have a cousin who lives in Ireland. can the services reach him there? I would like to know. We have been trying a few things from the US to Ireland. I need to look into the fees more to be sure though before they charge us a lot.

This would be really helpful if it works.

  • Thank you so much for sharing with us an informative and interesting article. The main content of this article is to accept affiliate payments as a non-US resident whose medium is Payoneer. The detailed discussion you have mentioned about the Payoneer mentioned in your article is truly remarkable.

I also do affiliate marketing and receive payments through Payoneer. Payoneer is a payment system that allows easy payment to be received and transferred. The most important aspect of Payoneer is that it opens up an account by signing up for free and with any account, you will be able to receive all payments from your affiliate marketing online, which I am currently doing.

I enjoyed reading your article, so I’d like to share your article on my Facebook group so everyone can know about this pie and open an account here and fix their own payment system.
